| Description: | Shake It! Dance Contest The hottest dance contest in Columbus Get ready for the annual Shake It! Dance Contest. This year we are switching things around to give everyone a chance to participate! So mark your calendars now! Amateur Category - Tuesday March 16 @ Martini Park (4040 Easton Station, Columbus, OH 43219) No routine necessary. Instructors not permitted to participate. The first place winners of the amateur category win 2 Full Passes to the Cincinnati Salsa Festival and are allowed to compete at the Semi-Pro level on April 2nd. Second and Third places win cash prizes, gift certificates and other great prizes. Semi-Pro Category - Friday April 2nd @ La Fogata Grill (790 N. High St, Columbus OH 43215) Advance sign-up and a routine are required. Instructors, semi-pro and professional dancers are encouraged to participate. Grand Prize: 2 VIP Full Passes to the New York Salsa Congress (Labor Day Weekend). Sign up forms will be up on the website http://www.SalsaColumbus.com on February 16.
