The holidays are approaching and most of us are already planning what we are going to do this year. Some of us prefer to pack up and get away, even for a few days. One of the most fashionable destinations this year is the Middle East in countries such as the United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi) and the popular Egypt tours.

Depending on how long you want to be, the things you want to do or the plan you want to go with, we give you some ideas for your next trip to Egypt.

Travel to Egypt

Egypt is a destination that we must visit at least once in our life and it is that part of the history, of our history, passes through this country. It is an essential place for lovers of history and anthropology, but in general for everyone. Highly recommended.

If you are wondering about security, we can tell you that, although it has recently experienced a major political conflict, it is possible to travel peacefully in many of its areas, especially in the more touristy ones. Of course, to be totally calm it is better to hire packages to Egypt to go with someone you trust.

What to see in Egypt

If you are thinking of taking a cruise to Egypt or a tour to Egypt, these are the essential places that you cannot miss:

  1. a) Cairo. It is the capital of Egypt and the largest city in the Arab world and the most populated in the entire African continent. So it is well worth a visit. More than 20 million people live, that is, much more than in some Asian cities. You will live situations of chaos, but it is part of the culture shock that we experience when we travel.
  2. b) Pyramids of Giza. If people go to Egypt it is to see the pyramids. Those of Giza are the only wonder of the ancient worldthat are still standing and that can be visited. They were built 4,500 years ago and are very well preserved. They are made with 2 million stone blocks and it is said that more than 10,000 workers worked on them.
  3. c) Temple of Karnak. It is the most important religious complex in Ancient Egypt. It is enormously large and truly spectacular. We propose a tour or a guided visit to discover it.
  4. d) Cruise in Egypt. And why not take a Nile River Cruise? It is the center of the country, the one that gave life to many civilizations throughout history. The best way to get to know it is with a cruise.
  5. e) Abu Simbel. A set of temples that were carved out of the rock during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II. It is magnificent and amazing. One of the places to visit.
